Lost Art Records announces a new Blaze Foley tribute album, Sittin' with Blaze. Two preview tracks, an Uncle Lucius cover of "Election Day" and Phosphorescent's version of "If I Could Only Fly," are now available on major streaming platforms.

The compilation also includes new recordings by Willie Watson, Cactus Lee, Dylan Earl, Riley Downing, Joshua Ray Walker, Twain, Angela Autumn, John R. Miller, and Lucinda Williams. Tracks by Lucy Dacus and John Moreland will be released to streaming services in July and August with the complete 13-track streaming release scheduled for August 7.

Sittin’ With Blaze showcases an assemblage of thirteen contemporary songwriters covering classic early Blaze recordings from his ‘tree house’ days in Georgia. Those recordings were originally released by Lost Art Records as Sittin’ by the Road in 2010 culled from demos recorded by Blaze in the mid-1970s.
